About Pro Performance Roofing
Ben Davis is a Raleigh native with 12 years in roofing, and he started Pro Performance Roofing in January 2023. He still comes to inspections. Roman Evers leads sales without pressure tactics. Brandon Kessler, an Army veteran, is our production manager and is on site for every job. We are certified by GAF (Certified Plus), CertainTeed (ShingleMaster) and Owens Corning (Preferred Contractor), so you can compare all three on one proposal.
Our office is in Lafayette Village, off Falls of Neuse Road in North Raleigh. That puts us a short drive from Wakefield, Hasentree and other neighborhoods built about 20 years ago, where many original roofs are now coming due. Some of those roofs still have life in them. When a repair will honestly carry yours a few more years, we say so and put it in writing, and we'll be there when it's time to replace it.

How fast can you inspect my roof and send a quote?
If water is coming in, tell us when you call so we can prioritize a tarp. After you sign, most installs are scheduled within about two weeks, depending on weather and material delivery.
Do you help with roof insurance claims?
Yes, and it is the part of the job we know best. We inspect and photograph the damage, meet your adjuster on site, and work with a supplement specialist to show the carrier items its estimate missed. We do not act as your public adjuster or negotiate your settlement, because North Carolina requires a license for that. We stay with you through partial approvals and denials.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Raleigh and the Triangle from our office in North Raleigh. That includes Wake Forest, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Morrisville, Knightdale, Rolesville, Wendell, Zebulon and Durham, plus Chapel Hill, Pittsboro, Creedmoor, Clayton, Smithfield, Angier, Willow Springs, Youngsville, Franklinton and Louisburg. If your town is not listed, call anyway and we will tell you straight.
Do roofers need a license in North Carolina, and are you insured?
North Carolina does not issue a roofing-specific license, but any project costing $40,000 or more requires a licensed general contractor. Whoever you hire, ask for proof of insurance before work starts. Please call us to confirm licensing and coverage for your project.

We review both with you at the final walkthrough.
Should I repair my roof or replace it?
It depends on the roof's age, the damage and how long you plan to stay, and we will give you an honest answer. If a repair will reliably carry the roof a few more years, we recommend the repair. If the inspection shows storm damage or wear across the whole roof, we show you the photos and explain why replacement makes more sense.
